  • What does it cost to build a sauna in Melbourne?

    It depends on your pathway, size and specification, from a DIY sauna kit through to a fully custom-built sauna. Sauna cost varies enough between projects that we'd rather give you an accurate, personalised quote than a misleading number here. Get in touch and we'll talk you through it.

  • What's the difference between Custom DIY and a Custom Sauna Build?

    Custom DIY means we cut your sauna to spec and guide you through assembly, ideal if you've got the drawings, the tools or a builder on hand. A custom sauna build means our team designs, builds and installs the entire thing for you. Custom sauna builds are currently available to Melbourne residents only.


    Custom DIYs are ideal for builders and designers - we take your plans and cut to size.


    For both options, we offer a design service where we plan your ideal sauna.

  • Do you sell steam saunas?

    This question tends to get a bit confusing. Traditional Finnish saunas produce steam when water is added to the hot rocks. If you're looking for a steam room (less heat, higher humidity), we do supply steam room heaters. We'll walk you through the options.

  • Can I build an outdoor sauna in Melbourne's climate?

    Yes, outdoor saunas are a popular choice here, provided the cladding, insulation and vapor barrier are suited to our weather. We can guide you through the right specification for an outdoor build during a design consultation.

  • Do I need an electrician for my sauna heater?

    Yes, an electric sauna heater needs to be wired through a proper heater contactor box by a licensed electrician. We can advise on the electrical requirements as part of your build.

  • Do you build portable saunas?

    No, we don't build portable saunas. Everything we offer is a permanent, traditional sauna, from DIY kits through to fully custom builds. DIY kits can be packed down and moved to your next home.
